Retiring Principal’s Recognition

TASSP recognizes Active members in good standing at the time of retirement by presenting them with an award and a Texas Heroes photo album. Retirees who have been members of TASSP for at least ten (10) years and who have completed at least twenty-five (25) years of service in the education profession are eligible to participate in the Texas Heroes recognition event held at the Summer Workshop. The Texas Heroes dinner is a festive event honoring retiring principals as well as Principals of the Year, Past Presidents of TASSP and the recipient of the Eddie G. Bull Professional Development Scholarship. The celebration features a three-course meal and musical entertainment. The honoree and one guest can attend at no cost. Additional guests may attend at $75 for adults and $35 for children ages 11 and under.
