TASSP is teaming up with the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) to help you strengthen your campus leadership skills with events focused on supporting the financial and operational responsibilities of principals and support staff. These online workshops provide information for school administrators managing budgets and student data, as well as office personnel handling campus-level accounting.

The role of school office personnel is often filled with complex tasks, high stress, and little time. This workshop addresses many of the business-related tasks unique to campus-level accounting, including account codes, activity funds, budget monitoring, cash management, purchasing, records management, and more.
This informative workshop equips campus leaders with a foundational understanding of the data reported to PEIMS and its critical role in school operations and funding. Gain clarity on how to improve data accuracy, interpret key TEA-required reports, and make informed decisions related to attendance and scheduling.
Campus principals have many critical responsibilities, including managing budgets and ensuring compliance with state requirements. These two workshops, Budgeting Essentials for Campus Principals (November 12) and Budget Development for Campus Principals (January 14), will equip you with the tools to manage campus funds, understand account codes, handle audits, and develop budgets that support special programs such as special education and bilingual services.
To register with the TASSP member discount:
- Log in to your TASBO account on the right side or select “Create a new account.”
