FIGHT SONG: 6 STEPS TO PASSION, POWER, PEACE, AND PURPOSE

In most lives, there is a moment when we need to rise through our pain, through self-doubt, fear, and mistrust, and reconnect with who we are meant to be. Kim is an award-winning educator of 34 years, but she is also a wife and mother of four children. Perfect for motivating others, this speech will focus on ways to overcome feeling overwhelmed, overworked, and underappreciated. Through the use of her own personal journey and how she overcame tragedy, betrayal, heartbreak, and pain, Kim will help audience members realize their influence, strength, and worth. Kim's heartwarming and thought-provoking anecdotes serve as compassionate, humorous reminders that it is possible to find the power within our most painful moments—that in fact, these experiences are the root of our power, truth, and self-acceptance. The blend of personal, professional, and pedagogical anecdotes in addition to Kim's 6 steps engage participants searching for a balance between their lives and their hearts.

THRIVERS: WHAT REALLY HELPS KIDS FIND HAPPINESS TODAY AND SUCCESS TOMORROW
Michele Borba has been a teacher, educational consultant, and parent for 40 years. She empowers all of us by providing skills that allow us to support the current generation of kids. The bestselling author of UnSelfie explains why the old markers of accomplishment are no longer reliable predictors of success in the 21st century — and offers proven traits that will safeguard our kids for what lies ahead. The high-achieving students she talks with every day are more accomplished, better educated, and more privileged than ever before. But many are also more stressed, unhappier, and struggling with anxiety, depression, and burnout at younger and younger ages. Thrivers are different: they flourish in our fast-paced, digital-driven, often uncertain world. Why? Dr. Borba found the difference between those who struggle and those who succeed comes down to the personal traits that set Thrivers apart and set them up for happiness as well as a greater potential later in life. In her newest book and in her speeches, Dr. Borba offers practical, actionable ways to develop these Thrivers traits from preschool through high school and show how to teach kids how to cope today so they can thrive tomorrow.

THE POWER OF LOVE AND A HOMELESS KID WHO FOUND THE WAY

Jimmy Wayne is a former foster kid turned award-winning country recording artist whose songs and story highlight his mission to raise awareness for children in foster care. Jimmy’s hits include “Stay Gone,” “Paper Angels,” “I Love You This Much” and “Do You Believe Me Now,” which earned BMI’s prestigious Million-Air Award for receiving more than one million radio spins in America. In 2009, Jimmy toured with Brad Paisley and recorded “Sara Smile” with rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame duo Daryl Hall and John Oates. In 2010, Jimmy walked halfway across America (from Nashville to Phoenix) to raise awareness for kids aging out of the foster care system. While walking, he wrote the Christmas novel Paper Angels. In 2012, Jimmy lobbied to pass legislative bills extending the age of foster care from 18 to 21 in California and Tennessee. In 2013, Jimmy’s first film, Paper Angels (UPtv) became an instant holiday classic and in 2014 he released Walk to Beautiful: The Power of Love and a Homeless Kid Who Found the Way which became a three-time New York Times bestseller, crossing the 170,000 sales milestone in early 2019, and became a #1 Bestseller at Amazon.
